Estimates and Quoting Guidelines by Casey Carpet & Tile Cleaning
At Casey Carpet & Tile Cleaning, we uphold the following principles when it comes to estimates and quoting for our services:
– Our minimum charge for any project stands at $165.00, which may encompass a combination of various components such as rooms, hallways, and stairs.
– The pricing provided to you via phone or email is subject to on-site inspection and assessment before the commencement of any work.
– Upon arrival at your premises, our skilled technicians will meticulously examine and measure the areas you’ve outlined. This includes a thorough assessment of the carpet’s condition and any existing stains.
– Prior to initiating any work, our technician will corroborate the price with you, ensuring complete transparency.
– While our initial price estimates often remain unchanged, in some instances, our technicians might adjust the quote post-inspection due to the following factors:
– Additional rooms or areas beyond the initial description are discovered.
– Rooms exceeding 12m² in size necessitate specialized attention.
– Unavailability of convenient parking in close proximity to the job site.
– Carpets exhibiting substantial soiling, requiring industrial-grade cleaning methods.
– Certain stains demand supplementary treatments such as heat transfer methodologies.
– Challenging accessibility to the work area is determined.
– The presence of animal-related stains or odors necessitates enhanced treatments.
At Casey Carpet & Tile Cleaning, our commitment to fairness and transparency guides our quoting practices, ensuring that you receive reliable estimates tailored to the specifics of each job.
Access Guidelines for Casey Carpet & Tile Cleaning
At Casey Carpet & Tile Cleaning, we ensure smooth access to your premises with the following considerations:
– In cases where the job location is situated more than 15 stairs away from the van parking area, a modest difficult access fee of at least $25.00 will be applied.
Spotting and Stain Removal Protocol
– Routine spots and stains fall within the purview of the cleaning price, demonstrating our commitment to delivering comprehensive service.
– For intricate stain removal tasks, such as aged cordial, curry, rust stains, and urine-related stains, additional charges may apply. These procedures will be communicated and quoted prior to the commencement of any work.
– Please be advised that Drymaster, now known as Casey Carpet & Tile Cleaning, cannot guarantee the complete removal of permanent stains.
– In specific instances, stains or spillages might exhibit unexpected reactions to the cleaning process. In these cases, where stains have migrated into the backing or underlay, resulting in reoccurrence or “wick back,” Casey Carpet & Tile Cleaning will not accept responsibility for permanent stains.
– Blood and substantial spillage instances on carpet warrant special attention. In scenarios where substances have permeated through the carpet, underlay, and flooring, re-cleaning may be necessary. Please be mindful that in certain circumstances, blood and heavy spills might resurface in carpet fibers days later due to a phenomenon known as “wicking.” Should multiple visits be required for re-cleaning, corresponding charges will be applicable.
At Casey Carpet & Tile Cleaning, our meticulous approach to stain removal and comprehensive understanding of potential challenges ensures that our services are executed with utmost professionalism and care.
Exclusions and Limitations by Casey Carpet & Tile Cleaning
At Casey Carpet & Tile Cleaning, we believe in transparency and aim to provide a clear understanding of our limitations in certain scenarios:
– **Permanent Stains:** Our skilled technicians make every effort to eliminate spots and stains using a wide array of stain treatment chemicals. However, success in stain removal is contingent upon the stain not having already set into the fibers. Set stains can lead to discoloration through dye alteration or bleaching, rendering them permanent. Notably, substances like coffee, cordial, curry, yellow urine stains, pharmaceutical preparations, acids, and bleach are challenging to remove once they’ve set. Wool carpets may pose greater difficulty in stain removal compared to synthetic carpets. Please note that deterioration, fading, heavy traffic, and wear are issues beyond the scope of cleaning rectification.
– **Urine Stains and Animal Hair:** We cannot guarantee the removal of urine stains as they often become irreversible. Additionally, animal and human hair intricately weave into the fibers, presenting a significant challenge for initial deep steam or dry cleaning. In certain cases, post-steam cleaning, further DRY vacuuming with a rotating brush vacuum cleaner may be necessary for complete hair removal.
– **Seams and Joins Damage:** We assume no liability for damage that may occur as a result of carpet seams and joins separating during the cleaning process. The latex used in carpet backings for various treatments deteriorates over time and may weaken during cleaning.
– **Tile and Grout Cleaning and Loose Grout:** While our tile and grout cleaning process is meticulous, it might dislodge old or loose grout. The possibility of such occurrences should be acknowledged. Casey Carpet & Tile Cleaning will not be accountable for grout that becomes dislodged or damaged during the cleaning process.
– **Cleaning at Customer’s Risk:** Instances may arise where our technicians exercise discretion in cleaning certain items due to associated risks. Some materials, such as Indian cotton sofas, Haitian cotton, coir, and sisal rope carpets, may present unique challenges. In the event a customer insists on proceeding despite technician recommendations to the contrary, Casey Carpet & Tile Cleaning will not assume responsibility for resulting damage or suboptimal cleaning outcomes.
– **Cleaning of Dyed Carpets:** Carpets or furnishings might have undergone previous dyeing with colors instead of replacements. We are not liable for potential color loss or damage that might arise due to prior re-dyeing of your carpets or furnishings. It’s crucial to note that both you and our technician may be unaware of prior dyeing, absolving us of responsibility in such cases.
At Casey Carpet & Tile Cleaning, our commitment lies in delivering exceptional service while being forthright about our limitations. Your understanding of these aspects is pivotal for a mutually beneficial engagement.
Fabric Sofa Cleaning Without Care Labels
In Australia, it is a regulatory requirement for fabric sofas to possess a FABRIC CLEANING CARE label affixed to the base and/or cushions by the manufacturer. This label serves the purpose of guiding cleaning technicians on recommended methods and procedures endorsed by the manufacturer. In instances where the label has been removed, it’s essential to acknowledge that Casey Carpet & Tile Cleaning cannot be held liable for any damage sustained during the cleaning process due to the unavailability of manufacturer instructions.
